Woohoo! I'm back from the X-mas vacation, and I've survived!

As there is no rest for the restless though, I'll be taking off to Baja, Mexico, in less than 20 hours. A friend of mine has a sailboat in Southern Baja, and is driving down to do some repairs on it. So on a whim I decided to join him.

And anyway - what better way to start off a year than with a bit of sunshine on the skin, wind in my face, and sand in my hair...

For you, the alert reader, that unfortunately means another two weeks of blog drought from me. Unless I find a whole lot of real ones, I'll be disbursing my pearls of wisdom again when I've had enough of the sand getting into my clothes, can't stand the reek of Tequila anymore (ok, that's already the case), and my skin is burnt to either a lobster-red crisp or a satisfying tan brown.
